I try to maintain a sense of humour with my paintings but underlying the apparent nonsense is my consuming interest in contemporary issues -- everything from climate change to bizarre beliefs has had its place in motivating me to produce my paintings. But quite aside from that is the great pleasure that I take in painting and drawing.
